First Apartment Kit $25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The First Apartment Kit $25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by First Apartment Kit (Dan Petz), Havre de Grace, Maryland ("Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, if older) at the time of entry. Sponsor and members of Sponsor's immediate family and household are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
3. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins on October 17, 2026 and ends on November 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Giveaway Period"). Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper. Entries received after the Giveaway Period ends will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
There are two (2) methods of entry. Each method has its own separate drawing and its own prize.
Method 1, website entry (Drawing 1): Visit firstapartmentkit.com/giveaway during the Giveaway Period, enter your first name and a valid email address, check the box confirming your age, agreement to these Official Rules and your request to receive the First Apartment Kit newsletter, and submit the form. Website entrants will also receive access to Sponsor's free First Week in Your Apartment checklist. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time; unsubscribing after entering does not void your entry.
Method 2, Facebook entry (Drawing 2): During the Giveaway Period, like and leave a comment on the official giveaway post published on the First Apartment Kit Facebook page. Both a like and a comment are required for a valid Facebook entry. No shares, tags or other actions are required. Following the First Apartment Kit Facebook page is encouraged so you don't miss the winner announcement, but it is not required to enter or win. Comments must be made from a personal Facebook account; comments that are offensive, spam or unrelated may be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion. Comments on any other post, on shared copies of the post, or on any other page are not eligible.
Limit: one (1) entry per person per method for the entire Giveaway Period. Additional website entries or additional comments by the same person count as one entry in that method. You may enter using both methods, but no person may win more than one (1) prize. Entries made using multiple email addresses, accounts or identities, or generated by script, bot or other automated means will be disqualified. Incomplete entries are void. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
5. Prizes
Two (2) prizes will be awarded, one (1) in each drawing. Each prize is one (1) $25 Amazon.com gift card, delivered electronically to the winner's email address. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each prize: $25. Total ARV of all prizes: $50. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or other substitution is allowed except at Sponsor's discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household. Amazon.com Gift Cards terms apply; see amazon.com/gc-legal. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
On or before December 3, 2026, Sponsor will conduct two (2) separate random drawings: Drawing 1 from all eligible website entries, and Drawing 2 from all eligible Facebook entries (entrants who both liked and commented on the official giveaway post). Drawing 1 will be conducted first. If the person selected in Drawing 2 has already been selected in Drawing 1, another Facebook entrant will be selected so that no person wins more than one prize. Odds of winning in each drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received for that method.
Website winner: notified by email at the address used to enter, and must respond within seven (7) days of the notification email being sent.
Facebook winner: notified by a reply to their comment and/or a message from the First Apartment Kit Facebook page, and must reply within seven (7) days with an email address for prize delivery. Sponsor will never ask a winner for a password, payment or bank details.
If a potential winner does not respond in time, is found ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, that potential winner forfeits the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries for the same method.
7. General Conditions
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules. If the Giveaway cannot run as planned because of technical failure, fraud or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend the Giveaway and, if canceled, award the prizes by random drawing from eligible entries received before cancellation.
8. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants release Sponsor from any liability, claims or damages arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of a prize, to the extent permitted by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, email delivery failures, or technical malfunctions of any kind.
9. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is used to administer the Giveaway, to contact winners, and, for website entrants, to send the First Apartment Kit newsletter they request. Facebook entrants are not added to the newsletter unless they sign up separately. Sponsor will not sell entrant information. Entrants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
10. Winners List
The first names and states of the winners will be posted on this page after the winners are confirmed, no later than December 31, 2026.
